Introduction
Detecting atypical behavior has a lot of potential in the data-mining field. Thanks to techniques used in predisoft technologies, an individual or a company can easily monitor and take action against atypical patterns. effidetect generics allows individuals and companies to analyze any individual or object.
Description
The effidetect suite has now been coupled with the generics module. The effidetect suite lets the user become skillful at detecting and monitoring electronic transfers. The generics module allows the user to observe the behavior of an arbitrary object, and to define it mathematically in order to be analyzed by an analytical “motor”. If the analytical motor or the “decision maker” module find it necessary, an alert can be issued and the analyst will be notified.
The module contains many of the effidetect system components, differentiating it from effidetect AML which detects laundering and effidetect Pointer, which detects fraud. effidetect generics does not provide specialized fraud alerts and money laundering messages because it’s meant for general use. Monitoring and alerts are generic unless the software is customized.
Availability
The effidetect generics is planned for release in Q3 2009.

Methods
The methods used belong to the symbolic vector technology of the discriminant analysis. Other OROMATH methods are eventually used. The effidetect suite infrastructure follows the same path as the effidetect when processing information and generating alerts.
Product
The software comes as an application or a service. effidetect generics is usually installed by a predisoft technician who will ensure it runs properly on the client’s system. Once completed, the application will run 7x24 on its own server. This software is not available as a DLL or plug-In.
