Introduction effidetect suite is the tool developed by predisoft to help clients to deal with large amounts of electronic transactions. All industries nowadays make electronic transfers in one way or another. Each transfer carries unique information, which the effidetect modules analyze and process accordingly. As a whole, these transactions also provide a lot of information. By monitoring these transactions in real time the client may have more control and better understanding of his business. Description The effidetect modules are applications with their own infrastructure and capable of processing electronic transactions in real time. Three modules may be added to effidetect which give it the power to extract and analyze transactional data. The AML module specializes in the detection of atypical transactions and exposing the individuals committing money laundering. Pointer is a similar application, which specializes in detecting fraud. effidetect generics is a module designed for the detection of deviations in arbitrary objects of study. generics can be employed equally well to detect variations in size, volume, etc in the production of goods or as in the detection of changes of behavior in human beings, whatever it may be but with the limitation that the information has to be processed electronically. Methods The methods used are part of the symbolic vector technology, in essence, an adapted form of discriminant analysis. Other OROMATH methods are currently being added. effidetect is structured in such a way that it collects data, processes the data with traditional and mathematical routines and generates alerts based on the outcome of the analysis. Product The software comes as an application, which is to be installed in the host system by a predisoft technician who will ensure it runs properly on the client’s system.
